On Tuesday March 11, 2014 the St. Lucia Floral Co-operative Society Limited (SLFCSL) hosted a Workshop and General Members’ Meeting at the Union Orchid Garden.
The workshop presentations were titled: “The Co-operative Business Model” and “The Co-operative Enterprise”. It was designed to create an understanding among executive members and general members of their roles within the Co-operative. The workshop was facilitated by Ms. Althea Jean-Caesar, Deputy Registrar of Cooperatives from the Ministry of Agriculture. Mr. Christopher Lamontagne, the Cooperative officer who is assigned to the Saint Lucia Floral Cooperative Society Ltd. (SLFCSL), was also introduced to the membership.
